Dear Caregivers and Families, Partners, and Friends of CaringSG,
As we come to the close of this wonderful day, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for making CaringSG Family Day 2024 such a special and meaningful event. Before we part ways, I’m excited to share a few important events that are coming up in the next few months.
On 12 October 2024, CaringSG will be proudly participating in the Purple Parade—Singapore’s largest movement to support inclusion and celebrate the abilities of persons with special needs.
At our booth, we’re thrilled to feature the support groups under CaringSG Alliance Network, which caregivers can be matched to.
We welcome you to join our Purple Parade contingent to showcase the strength and unity of our community.
In addition to that, we’ll be raising funds through the sale of handmade items from our CAREcottage initiative. These items, crafted with love and care by our caregivers, symbolize the resilience and creativity that define our community. I invite all of you to join us at Suntec City on that day.
Looking ahead to 1 December 2024, we’ll be launching something very close to our hearts—the CAREforward Healing Journal.
Written and designed by two special needs caregivers, the Healing Journal is designed to be a companion for caregivers on their journey, offering a space for reflection, self-care, encouragement, and hope.
But there’s more. As we launch the Healing Journal, we are encouraging each of you to “care-it-forward.” Consider gifting the Healing Journal to another caregiver as an act of love and encouragement. This simple act of kindness can make a difference in the lives of the caregiver you bless.
So as we close today’s event, I want to leave you with this thought: We are stronger together.
Whether it’s joining a support group, marching side by side in the Purple Parade, sharing the healing power of a journal, or simply being there for each other, every action we take, no matter how small, contributes to a more compassionate and resilient community.

CaringSG Board Retreat 2025: Reflecting, Strengthening, and Moving Forward
On 22 February 2025, 20 caregivers and their loved ones with special needs gathered at Wildflower Studio, a cosy art space within the Enabling Village Hub, for a unique and heartwarming experience—Art Jamming with Cats.
To celebrate CaringSG’s 5th Anniversary, we are giving away 100 free Standard Memberships (worth $30 each) to Blue CHAS cardholders!
