CAREconnect

Gain access to emotional support, resources and connections to fellow caregivers in our CaringSG Alliance Network (CAN), a national network of special needs caregiver support groups, caregivers, people with disabilities, professional allies and supporters of special needs community. 

Participate in our specially curated CAREconnect program jointly organised by CaringSG’s caregiver and professional volunteers. 

  • CAREconnect webinars*, forums and respite events build your caregiving knowledge, skills and personal resilience. 
  • CAREconnect family activities help you bond with your dependent and other special needs families. 
  • CAREconnect social and inclusive activities connect you with other caregivers and your neighbourhood. 

*CAREconnect Webinars are curated webinars that focus on topics close to the hearts of special needs caregivers.

Our webinars aim to:

  1. build equal partnerships between caregivers and professionals,
  2. integrate evidence-based knowledge from professionals with the lived experiences of caregivers,
  3. focus on practical applications in caregivers’ daily lives, and
  4. improve caregiving and caregiver outcomes, and their families’ quality of life.

CAREkaki Program

Our CAREkaki program also enables Grassroot Leaders (GRLs) and volunteers with disability knowledge, skills and experience in supporting participation of caregivers, PWD and families in inclusive community events.

The program consists of two components:

CAREkaki workshop – 4 hours interactive workshop

Enable Grassroot leaders and volunteers with disability knowledge, skills and experience in supporting participation of caregivers, PWD and families in inclusive community events.

CAREkaki internship – 4 events over 1-year

Grassroot leaders and volunteers to practise what they have learned in the workshop by participate in organise inclusive events and engage the special needs families in their constituency

Ensuring a Safe Space: This measure is crucial in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our dedicated staff and volunteers, who are here to assist and support you.

Reporting and Action: Any incidents of abuse or harassment should be reported immediately, and will be addressed in accordance with the relevant legal frameworks.
