The “i care! CaringSG Charity Gala-dinner with Art Auction” to be held on 25 March 2023 is one of our efforts to raise funds to support our continuing work with caregivers and their dependents.
Donations will go towards funding our programmes (CAREconnect, CAREbuddy and CAREwell) to help special needs caregivers.
CaringSG is a caregiver-led initiative for special needs caregivers and the community, set up in 2020.
Our mission is to connect, enable and empower fellow special needs caregivers by building an inclusive, compassionate and supportive community through innovative solutions.
Our dedicated team consists of special needs caregivers and professional allies.
We also have a Board of Directors and Advisors who are special needs caregivers and advocates, social service sector veterans and esteemed professionals to guide us.
1. CAREconnect: We help caregivers find a support group via our CaringSG Alliance Network. We run inclusive events for personal knowledge, skills, respite, social activities and more.
2. CAREbuddy: We train CAREbuddies (who are special needs caregivers themselves) to provide emotional support to fellow caregivers through individualised routine-based approach and information sharing.
3. CAREwell: Our multidisciplinary team of professional volunteers help to better coordinate health and social services to support special needs caregivers and their families.
Silent Auction of 6 specially curated art works generously donated by friends and families of persons with disabilities, including fine art digital prints worth SGD15,000, specially commissioned clay sculpture and priceless water-colour paintings.
